Management of the Institute of Control Systems participated in an international scientific conference
16.06.2022 /The international scientific conference "Science, technology and innovation technologies in the period of revival of the new epoch of the powerful state" was held online in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on June 12-13, 2022.
General Director of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS, Academician Ali Abbasov presented his paper "Problems and perspectives of creating computer processing systems for natural languages with low information resources" at the plenary session of the conference on June 12, 2022. The academician brought to the attention of the conference participants the results and applied works on Azerbaijani language with the use of methods of artificial intelligence of languages with low digital linguistic resources.
A. Abbasov said that the developed system allows recognition and understanding of speech in the Azerbaijani language, analysis of automatic translation and other functions. He pointed out that the system can also be used for creating a robot operator and media monitoring in call centers, a virtual assistant and a virtual teacher.
At the end of his presentation, the academician informed the conference participants in detail about the possibilities of using the system in other Turkic-speaking countries as well.
On the next day, Executive Director of the ICS, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov presented his paper "Modeling of actions and psychophysical processes in emergencies" in the section "Information and communication systems, computer technology, exact sciences". The scientist noted that during emergencies the prediction of behavior directions of the executive staff and members of the rescue team working in conditions of increased danger becomes more complicated. For this reason, the readiness of the team leader for possible situations in advance may allow saving lives, health and property more effectively. A. Sadigov informed the participants of the event in detail about the scientific and methodological resources for modeling human actions and psychophysical reactions during emergencies, developed as a result of the research conducted in this area.
