The article "Regulation of digital economy in modern competitive conditions", co-authored by Aygun Aliyeva, PhD in Economics, Head of Public Relations Department at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS), was published in the 19th volume of the prestigious scientific journal WSEAS Transactions on Business and Economics, published in the USA and indexed in the Scopus database.

The article is devoted to the main aspects of regulation of digital economy in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It examines and analyzes the growth rates observed in recent years in the digital economy in all countries of the world. The analysis shows that the Republic of Azerbaijan improves its indicators of economic development in international rankings year by year. All these processes are positively influenced by such factors as the implementation of an effective economic policy in the country, the development of a modern digital economy and the promotion of foreign investment.

The article also outlines the ongoing reforms carried out in the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of international experience in the field of digital economy, analyzes the measures implemented, as well as the existing problems in this area.
