Employees of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS (Tofig Babayev, Head of Department of Foreign Relations and Innovations, Elkhan Sabziyev, Assoc.Prof. Gulchin Abdullayeva) participated in the ICT 2015 Conference on 19-22 October 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal.

ICT 2015 Conference organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology in cooperation with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, is specifically dedicated to networking and promoting research and innovation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The event presented the European Commission's policies and initiatives in the ICT field, with a focus on the new Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17, including ICT calls across all three pillars of Horizon 2020. It offered an exceptional occasion to build quality partnerships as it will connect academia, research institutes, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe.

The following project ideas were presented at the conference by the Azerbaijani participants:
- Mobile system for heart monitoring
- Intelligent Information System for Diagnostics and Monitoring of Poisoning with Toxic Substances
- Intelligent System for Treatment of Patients with Musculoskeletal Infections (Msi)

The Azerbaijani participants had 23 face-to-face meetings, establishing contacts with potential partners and discussing the issues of creating consortia within the framework of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17 calls.
