Employee of the Institute of Control Systems participated in the internetional scientific conference

Raiha Niyazova, researcher at the Institute of Control Systems, presented a co-authored paper on "AN INNOVATIVE IMPROVED APPROXIMATE METHOD FOR THE RANGE WITH COEFFICIENCES, AN INNOVATIVE IMROVED APPROXIMATE METHOD FOR THE KNAPSACK PROBLEM WITH COEFFICIENTS GIVEN IN THE INTERVAL FORM at the 8th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONTROL AND OPTIMIZATION WITH INDUSTRIAL APPLICATONS, held at Baku State University on August 25. The paper considers the construction of problems with optimistic and pessimistic values on the basis of the knapsack problem with coefficients given in interval form, then finding approximate (suboptimal) solutions of these problems and the innovative improvement of the found approximate solutions. R. Niyazova also said that the program of the proposed method had been built and extensive comparative experiments had been carried out. At the end of the successful presentation Raiha Niyazova was awarded a certificate. It should be noted that the paper will be published in the journal indexed in the WEB OF SCIENCE.
