Employee of the Institute of Control Systems spoke at an international conference

Professor Shahnaz Shahbazova, Leading Researcher at the Laboratory of Investigation of Recognition Problems Using Artificial Intelligence Methods at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was invited to the 20th International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Generalized Networks, IWIFSGN-2022, which was held in Warsaw, Poland, on October 12-14, 2022.

At the event, Sh. Shahbazova made the presentation "Lotfi A.Zadeh's life and his scientific legacy. Our scientific activities after his 5-year death".

The article describes the life and scientific legacy of Professor Lotfi A. Zadeh. At the presentation, the author spoke about Zadeh's articles and the first results of his scientific works, as well as his scientific discoveries (how the theory was born, the history and specifics of this theory), starting from the period when Zadeh lived in Baku until the age of 10.

The paper describes in detail the collaboration with other scientists (teacher Norbert Wiener, Rudolf Kalman, Charles A. Desoer, etc.) and his research activities until the last stage of his life.

The paper also provides information on the scientific activities of Lotfi A. Zadeh's followers during the 5 years after his death.
