Employees of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of National Mourning Day January 20. Employees of ICS honored the memory of the children of the motherland, who heroically gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, said prayers for their souls and laid flowers on the graves of martyrs.

 

January 20, one of the most brutal and terrible crimes against humanity, is remembered in the history of Azerbaijan not only with pain and bitterness, but also as the Day of Honor. On that bloody January night the Azerbaijani people showed courage, standing up to the Soviet Army. These events proved that our nation is determined to fight for restoration of violated rights, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 

Blessed memory of the martyrs will live in the hearts of every Azerbaijani and will never be forgotten. May Allah rest the souls of all our shehids!
