Asaf Hajiev received the title of an Honorary Full Member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova

The Science Day, dedicated to the 70-th Anniversary of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Republic took place on 12 June 2016 in Chisinau.
The ceremony was opened by Mr.Nicolae Timofti, the President of the Republic of Moldova. Academician Gheorghe Duca, the President of Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova, delivered the prizes "Scientist of the Year” and "Young Scientist of the Year”. He also handed over the Diplomas of Honorary Academician to the scientists, who were awarded in May 2016 at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova.
Honorary Academician Diplomas were awarded to:
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev (Mathematics) – member of Political Council of NAP, academician of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences;
Mr. Ionel Valentin Vlad (Physics) - President of the Romanian Academy;
Mr. Sergey Aldoshin (Chemistry) – Аcademician, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
Mr. Jiuping Xu (Engineering) – Professor of Chengdu University (China).
In the ceremony, also took part, the formers Presidents of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Mircea Snegur and Mr. Petru Luchinschi, Mrs. Liliana Palihovici, Vice-President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
