The 5th Modeling and Optimization in Transport and Logistics International Conference, organized by the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of Moldova was to be held on April 21-25, 2022. Before the date of the conference the conference proceedings were published, edited by Prof. D.H. Solomon, Prof. M.Y. Grigorak, Prof. K.R. Aida-zade, Prof. D.D. Lozovanu, Prof. R.I. Stetsyuk, including the papers by employees of the ICS Prof. Kamil Ayda-zade, Yegana Ashrafova, Doctor of Mathematics and Anar Ragimov, Doctor of Mathematics (Оптимизация мест и мощностей источников системы сетевой структуры, Айда-Заде К.Р., Ашрафова Е.Р. Because of the known events that began in Ukraine in February 2022, the organizing committee of the conference decided to hold international seminars, starting in May, 2 times a month. The seminars will feature presentations by conference participants from more than 10 countries (USA, Italy, Germany, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, etc.).

 

 

On March 14, 2023, an international scientific seminar on Modeling and Optimization in Transportation and Logistics was held in the online format. The seminar featured a presentation by Professor Roman A. Polakin of George Mason University, USA, "The Golden Years of Optimization". Employees of the Institute of Control Systems took an active part in the seminar.
