Our colleagues elected Corresponding and Full Members of ANAS

Election of Full and Corresponding Members of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was held at the general assembly of ANAS on 30 June. According to ANAS President Academician Akif Alizade, the election was transparent and met the modern standards both from the legal and technical viewpoint. 26 Full Members and 50 Corresponding Members of the Academy were elected by poll. Two employees of the Institute of Control Systems are among those elected. Head of "Controllable Queuing Systems” laboratory, Doctor of Mathematics, Professor, Corresponding Member of ANAS Asef Hajiyev was elected Full Member of ANAS; head of "Numerical Decision-Making Methods in Deterministic Systems” laboratory, Doctor of Mathematics, Professor Kamil Aydazade was elected Corresponding Member of ANAS. Our congratulations to both scientists! We wish them good health and success in their future research work.
