ANAS PMED meeting devoted to the annual report

A meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was held at the Institute of Information Technologies on 11.01.2013. The first half of the meeting was devoted to the exhibition of achievements of the institutes of the Physics, Mathematics and Engineering Department (PMED) of ANAS in the past 20 years.

The meeting devoted to the 2012 annual report of ANAS PMED was opened by the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Academician Makhmud Kerimov, who familiarized the audience with the agenda.

Academic Secretary of ANAS PMED Academician Akif Hajiyev delivered the report on the scientific and scientific and organizational activities of the institutes of the department in 2012. He said that both fundamental scientific research works and scientific-technical researches of applied nature had been included in the work plan of the department last year.
"Plan of application of implemented scientific research and experimental design works of ANAS institutes for 2012” included 31 works (14 of them transitional), which have been fully implemented in accordance with the plan.

Academicians Arif Khashimov, Ismail Ibrahimov, Telman Aliev, Corresponding Members of ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev, Adil Garibov, Asaf Hajiyev, Eyub Guliyev, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Nazim Mamedov, who delivered their reports at the meeting, gave a high appraisal of the annual report of the department.

After discussion of the annual report on scientific and scientific-technical activity of the Physics, Mathematics and Engineering Department (PMED) of ANAS in 2012, the annual report of the department was included in the annual report of ANAS by the resolution of the Presidium of ANAS.
