The 1st International Scientific Conference of Research Students (ISCORS) “Heydar Aliyev: Economic strategy model” was held. It was organized by the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) with the support of Ege University.
The participants of the conference first laid flowers in front of the bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev at the university and commemorated the dear memory of the national leader.
The moderator of the conference, the director of DOMSA of UNEC, Professor Zahid Mammadov, spoke at the opening of the event, informed about the program of the conference, and wished success to the work of the conference.
Then the vice-rector for science, Professor Sakit Yagubov, spoke about the national economic development model, which is based on world experience and ensures stable, dynamic development of the national economy, as well as reproduction. Emphasizing the role of UNEC in training economists, the vice-rector pointed out that the university’s Development Strategy is based on the recommendations of the great leader.
Professor Mehmet Ersan, the vice-rector of Ege University, spoke about the importance of involving students in scientific activities, as well as the importance of conducting joint research, and organizing scientific discussions and conferences between Ege University and UNEC students, and wished success to the work of the conference.
Executive Director of the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education, Corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, who participated in the conference, spoke about the role of economic science in the development strategy of Azerbaijan. Emphasizing the importance of new teaching technologies in the training of economist personnel, A. Sadigov pointed out that successful accomplishments in this area have been achieved at UNEC.
Then the conference continued with paper presentations. Associate Professor Emin Garibli, the Director of Science at the Student Scientific Society of UNEC, spoke about the role of Heydar Aliyev in the sustainable economic development of Azerbaijan and emphasized the immense role of Heydar Aliyev in the formation of the concept of sustainable development and economic development model. Then Gunay Musayeva, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management made a presentation on “Heydar Aliyev’s Employment and Social Policy Course”, Shahsun Ismayilov, a student of the SABAH Center presented his paper “Revolutionizing e-commerce in Azerbaijan: Strategies for growth and development”. Serjan Köksal, a student of Ege University, made a presentation on “Learning from Arrow: The Example of the USA Manufacturing Industry “.
The conference continued its work with plenary sessions.
