Executive Director of the Institute of Control Systems, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov took part in an event dedicated to the presentation of the results of the research project "Communication Problem in University-State-Industry Relations: Who Wants What", held at UNEC on June 16, 2023.

Rector of UNEC Adalat Muradov pointed out that the grant competition had been financed for the first time from UNEC’s own budget, and thanked the researchers of the UNEC Empirical Research Center and the UNEC Research Center for Knowledge Economy who had implemented the project. The Rector said that the results of the research would be published as a book and presented to universities, ANAS and scientific research institutes, and representatives of the relevant private sector.

Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, who has participated in the project development as one of the main experts, spoke at the event and noted the relevance of the project research topic and the importance of allocating grants for such research. He said that the private sector, industrial enterprises, as well as a number of ministries do not invest in the development of science and education, emphasizing indifference to the implementation of innovative scientific and technological projects, training of scientific and engineering personnel. The scientist pointed out that this, in turn, negatively affects the production of science-intensive and competitive products in our country.

There was an extensive discussion of the results of the project, suggestions were made and questions were answered.
