Telemetry station has been installed by the Cybernetics Institute
08.12.2011 / Conferences, assembliesA telemetry station of robust noise monitoring for registration of anomalous seismic processes was installed by the Cybernetics Institute at the head of 3,500 meter deep oil well at Qum Island in the Caspian Sea on 1 May, 2010. Another station was installed at the head of the 5,000 meter deep well # 427 of Shirvan Oil Company. A 3rd and a 4th stations are being built in Siazan Oil and Naftalan at the present time. Experiments at Qum Island and in Shirvan demonstrate that it was possible to register anomalous seismic processes that create earthquakes 15-20 hours before their registration by standard seismic station. A group of specialists from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology visited the Cybernetics Institute at the invitation of the latter. The aim of the visit was closer familiarization with the works in the field of registration of beginning of anomalous seismic processes by telemetry stations and transmission of experimental data to the server.
