The master class on "Solving differential equations with Matlab" was held on December 12, 2023 on the initiative of the Azerbaijan Technical University department of Sabah groups of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The master class, organized by the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held by Yegana Ashrafova, PhD in Mathematics, for the 2nd year students of group 682.s1 studying in specialty "Information Technologies" of Sabah groups of the Azerbaijan Technical University.

 

Y.Ashrafova told the students about methods of numerical solution of ordinary differential equations, as well as systems of ordinary differential equations, in particular about solvers of the Matlab program package for systems of ordinary differential equations. She explained the procedure and importance of reducing high-order linear differential equations to system equations. Talking about the practical importance of differential equations in many fields, the scientist explained the order of using the Matlab program package with modern and broad solvers in solving systems of ordinary differential equations on a number of test problems. The master class held in the form of exchange with the students attracted great interest, and a number of questions on the topic were answered.
