A meeting with the pupil who will take part in the republican contest "Scientists of Tomorrow" was held at the Institute of Control Systems
15.12.2023 /As is known, the republican contest "Scientists of Tomorrow" for students of grades 9-11 of secondary schools of Azerbaijan has been held since 2012 on the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Leading scientists of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) have many times given academic support to the schoolchildren participating in the contest in teams, in selecting topics, developing projects and submitting them to the contest.
On December 14, 2023, a meeting was held at the Institute with Sara Dadashova, a student of grade 11 of secondary school No. 189-190, who will take part in the next project of the national contest "Scientists of Tomorrow", to be held in 2024, and her computer science teacher Gulnar Ibadli. Head of Laboratory of ICS Associate Professor Gulchin Abdullayeva, PhD in Mathematics, who will be the student's academic advisor, researcher of the laboratory Sayara Hidayatzade, and Head of Education Department of ICS Sevinj Guliyeva, PhD in Mathematics, took part in the meeting.
First, Gulchin Abdullayeva spoke in detail about the work and scientific achievements of the Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing Systems, which she heads. Then followed a discussion on the choice of the topic of the project to be submitted to the competition, drawing up a plan of work to be carried out to implement the project, etc., there was an exchange of views, advice and recommendations were given.
As a result, it was decided to hold regular meetings according to a set schedule.
