On December 7-10, 2023, Lamiya Najafova, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) of the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, junior researcher of the Laboratory of Control in Emergency Situations, was on a business trip to the city of Mingachevir.

 

The 2nd International Scientific Conference "Sustainable Development Strategy: Global Trends, National Experience and New Goals" dedicated to the 100th birthday anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) on December 8-9 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Economy and the City Administration of Mingachevir. Members of faculty, scientists and experts of universities, research institutes and relevant institutions of 9 countries of the world participated in the international conference.

 

L. Najafova presented a paper at the international conference. The paper caused interest of the participants, a wide discussion was held around the topic, questions were answered and the paper was awarded a certificate. During her business trip, the young researcher also visited the Mingachevir HPP, the largest hydroelectric power plant in the South Caucasus, for her research.
