The Institute of Control Systems hosted a master class on "The role and development prospects of artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of Azerbaijan's economy"

On December 22, 2023, a master class was held for students of Sabah groups of Azerbaijan Technical University studying on the specialty of "Information Technology Engineering" on the initiative of the Department of Sabah Groups of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Azerbaijan Technical University and the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The master class was conducted by Prof. Ramin Rzayev, Head of the Decision Support Information Systems Laboratory of ICS, on the topic "The role and development prospects of artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of Azerbaijan's economy".
Pointing out that artificial intelligence tools and methods are one of the hot topics in business and global economy, R. Rzayev said that artificial intelligence will lead to radical, perhaps unprecedented changes in people's way of life and work.
Emphasizing that artificial intelligence is actively penetrating into our daily life, into all areas of human activity, the scientist said that it ensures safety and increases labor productivity to meet the challenges of our time, offering new opportunities for the transformation of society as a whole.
Noting that artificial intelligence will soon make an important contribution to the progressive development of the digital economy, R.Rzayev spoke in detail about process automation technology, natural language processing and other categories.
Speaking about the role and objectives of fuzzy logic in solving many practical, including intellectual problems, R. Rzayev elaborated on its main provisions and doctrinal possibilities.
The master class held in the form of exchange of views with students aroused great interest and a number of questions on the topic were answered.
