State Program discussed at the ICS

The discussion of the State Program "Development of the intelligent system for online control of oil extraction using nano- and other technologies” took place at the ICS on 24 October 2016.

The discussion was presided over by Director of ICS, Acad. Telman Aliev. The scientists of the institute involved in the project preparation, including Deputy Director for Science O. Nusratov, Doctor of Engineering, Head of Laboratory "Mathematical modeling of nanotechnologies application in oil industry” Prof. Eldar Shakhbazov, Doctor of Engineering, F. Pashayev, PhD in Engineering, A. Hasanov, Doctor of Engineering, Head of Foreign Relations and Innovation Department Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering, and other researchers, as well as leading specialists of the Institute of Oil and Gas of ANAS, Head of Laboratory at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Corresponding Member of ANAS Garib Jamalov, took part in the discussion.

Presenting the project, Head of Laboratory Assoc.Prof. Asif Rzayev, PhD in Engineering, gave detailed information about the aim of the program, methods of use of nanotechnologies, principles of operational control of oil extraction processes with the application of nanotechnologies at oilfields in the final stage of development, the importance of the intelligent system ensuring online control based on these principles and the expected results of implementation of the State Program. He pointed out that the project of the program had been redrafted with regard to the comments and recommendations given by specialists from the Institute of Oil and Gas, Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS, SOCAR "Nanotechnologies” Research and Production Center, and other specialists participating the discussion.

The project was discussed in detail.

At the end of the discussion, Director of ICS Acad. Telman Aliev recommended to hold the next discussion on the project at a nearest seminar of "Azneft” Production Association.
