A meeting of the ED 1.20 Dissertation Council was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 26, 2024. First, the Chairman of the Council, Academician Ali Abbasov familiarized the participants with the issues arising from the agenda.

Then, the Academic Secretary of the Council, Associate Professor Tahir Alizada, PhD in Engineering, provided detailed information on current issues. The meeting considered issues on approving the publication of the dissertation abstract as a manuscript, determining the addresses included in the "List of organizations to which dissertation abstracts should be sent" determined by the commission, approving the defense date and official opponents. The official opponents and dates of defense of dissertations by Shahli Surkhay Huseynzade and Shane Nizami Jahidzade were determined.

Then, appropriate decisions were made on the issues of the agenda.
