A meeting with the CIS Regional Director of IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. Yuchao Tang was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on February 28, 2024. The meeting was attended by General Director of ICS Academician Ali Abbasov, Acting Executive Director of ICS Associate Professor Elkhan Sabziev, DSc in Engineering, Head of the International Relations and Innovation Department Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering, and Chief Specialist Narmin Abbaszade. The meeting was held within the framework of cooperation relations established during the visit of the ICS delegation to the People's Republic of China on September 3-9, 2023.
Academician Ali Abbasov thanked the guest for the attention shown to the Institute and informed him in detail about the main areas of activity of the ICS, basic scientific research works carried out and international cooperation relations. He spoke about the effective cooperation relations established last year during the visit of the ICS delegation to the People's Republic of China in the field of aerospace information processing, realization of joint research projects and personnel training. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the companies providing earth information services from low-orbit satellites on the basis of scientific-industrial platform, including IPLOOK Technologies Co. A. Abbasov touched upon the importance of this company in the field of mobile services.
At the end of his speech, A. Abbasov suggested that IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. should hold business meetings with partners of the ICS Sinam Ltd. and Azerconnect to establish effective cooperation relations in the field of cloud technologies in Azerbaijan.
Then Yuchao Tang gave a detailed presentation on the history and business profile of the company he represents. He noted that IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. is a leading software developer with flexible development, personalized services and end-to-end encryption capabilities of major 3G/4G/5G networks. Founded in 2012, the company operates in more than 50 countries and has the ability to connect more than 50 million subscribers. Speaking about the highly scalable virtualized core mobile network that IPLOOK presents to customers in the global arena, Y.Tang said that they are interested in operating in Azerbaijan with modern technological capabilities. Talking about the advantages of using this network in our country, Y.Tan put forward his proposals in this direction.
Acting Executive Director of ICS Dr. Elkhan Sabziyev talked in his speech about topical scientific research and personnel training policy carried out in ICS in the area of development of control systems in the country. Expressing confidence that scientific and practical cooperation will give effective results for the two institutions, E. Sabziev voiced questions and suggestions regarding the activities of IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. in the field of cloud technologies in Azerbaijan.
Head of the International Relations and Innovation Department of the ICS Tofig Babayev in his speech expressed confidence that the established cooperation relations between the ICS and IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. will give effective results, informed the guests about the 3rd International Conference on Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor (PLMO 2024), which will be held in the ICS from May 15 to 17, 2024.
During the meeting, the possibilities of joint activities and prospects for further cooperation between ICS and IPLOOK Networks Co., Ltd. were discussed.
