I cordially congratulate you on International Women's Day, wish you all good health, happiness and success in your future endeavors.

Throughout history, Azerbaijani woman has been known for her fighting spirit, glorifying the name of sacred mother, taking active part in social-political and cultural life of the country, constantly demonstrating selflessness in defense of the Motherland and governance.

Azerbaijani women gained voting right earlier than women of many advanced countries of the world, proved their forward thinking, innovation and progressive spirit, making the first steps among women of the Muslim East in various areas of art and science.

Staying true to her spiritual nature, Azerbaijani woman has always honorably preserved the greatness of her name, a symbol of elegance, majesty and beauty. Throughout history, she has written bright pages of our past with her wisdom, enterprise and purity.

Successful implementation of projects serving our national interests under the leadership of First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva is a vivid example of Azerbaijani women having rich spiritual, intellectual and high moral values.

Women have unparalleled merits in all great achievements of independent Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani women, as active participants of socio-political, socio-economic, scientific-cultural processes in our country, spare no effort to make their contribution to the rise of our Motherland.
