Our scientists participated in training programs in Malaysia
21.06.2014 / Conferences, assembliesTwo employees of the Institute of Control Systems of AMAS, the leading researchers Assoc.Prof. Anar Rahimov and Assoc.Prof. Samir Rustamov took part in the training programs within the framework of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) organized by the government of Malaysia and SIRIM Berhad State Company. The programs were held from 8 June to 21 June, 2014, in Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Malaysia. A. Rahimov took part in the training program on Intelligence Systems, and S. Rustamov – in the training program on Radio Frequency Identification.
The training program on Intelligence Systems covered such subjects as SIRIM Robokit (introduction to Robotics and embedded systems, Robotics application and development), Solaerator (introduction to Green Technology and applications, Solar system, Sensors and embedded design and its applications), creating content for creative corporate website and e-commerce for business.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) covered introduction to RFID, overview of RFID Technology, implementation and its application.
45 specialists from 32 countries took part in the MTCP training programs. A. Rahimov and S. Rustamov received certificates of successful completion of their respective programs.
Our scientists also made a presentation in the Country Paper Presentation section in front of the employees of SIRIM Berhad and the participants from 32 countries. To promote our Republic, they gave the audience detailed information on the achievements of our country, Karabakh conflict, Khodjali genocide, and on the scientific results obtained at the Institute of Control Systems. The presentation caused major interest of the audience.
There was also exchange of views and ideas with various authoritative representatives with regard to the future cooperation between SIRIM Berhard the Institute of Control Systems.
