Model lesson of SABAH at BSU

Another model lesson of SABAH center was held at the Baku State University on 29 February 2016. The subject of the model lesson was "Development and industrial application of nanotechnologies”. Prof. Eldar Shakhbazov, Head of Laboratory at ICS ANAS, member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, recipient of "Taraggi” medal, laureate of UNESCO award "For the role in the development of nanoscience and nanotechnologies”, told students about the areas of development of nanotechnologies in the 21st century and the use of nanotechnologies in oil industry. One of the issues that the students were interested in was the use of nanotechnologies for maintaining ecological balance. It should be noted that other students interested in the subject can participate in model lessons alongside with SABAH students.
