An informative event "Climate change, energy, health” supported by ANAS and European Commission within the frame of "Horizon-2020” was held at the Gafgaz University.
Event organized by International Relations Department of ANAS Presidium Administration brought together the representatives of the France's National Scientific Research Center and the Pasteur Institute, the Hungarian Regional Centre for Science and Development, the State Environment University of Odessa in Ukraine, including over 80 scientists and specialists engaged in relevant spheres.
Rector of Gafgaz University Prof. Ahmad Sanich informed on the essence, execution principles and scope of EU "Horizon-2020”. A.Sanich noted that, event is of importance in terms of ensuring scientist and specialists’ participation in the various projects, enhancing cooperation.
Later on, deputy chief of the International Relations Department of ANAS Zarifa Aliyeva notified that, the next informative event "Climate change, energy, health” will be take part in ANAS. She also highlighted the support of The EU Research and Innovation Program "Horizon 2020" project in realizing scientists’ scientific ideas.
A leading scientific researcher of the Institute of Control Systems, PhD in Physics-maths Elkhan Sabziyev, chief Department of Foreign Relations and Innovation of the same institute, PhD in Engineering Tofig Babayev, Security and Energy Research Center PhD in History Jeyhun Mahmudlu and chief department of International Relations at the Institute of Information Technology PhD in Engineering Vugar Musayev delivered lectures at the event.
Event run by sections: "Health and welfare”, "Climate change and environment”, and "Energy”.
Main building of ANAS will host a closing ceremony of the event on June 2, 2016.
