Academician Telman Aliev awarded jubilee medal "100th Birthday of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)"

"Science Day and Science of the Day: Humanitarian Research and Artificial Intelligence" festive event was held at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences on March 27 on the occasion of Science Day. The event was attended by President of ANAS Academician Isa Habibbeyli, People's Artist Academician Omar Eldarov, Chairman of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan, MP Eldar Guliyev, MPs Fazil Mustafa, Ulviya Gamzayeva, Head of Science and Higher Education Policy Department of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Turkhan Suleyman, members of the Presidium of ANAS, Full Member and Corresponding Members of ANAS, employees of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS and representatives of the scientific community of the republic.
At the event, Advisor of ANAS, Academician Telman Aliev was awarded the jubilee medal "100th Birthday of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)" in accordance with the Order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 2, 2024.
Under the leadership of Telman Aliyev, who has important merits in the field of study and propaganda of rich political heritage, ideals of statehood of national leader Heydar Aliyev, in recent years, a new generation "robust" monitoring and control system has been introduced at 300 facilities of Bibi-Heybat Oil and Gas Production Department, enabling remote diagnostics and control of downhole oil production equipment, which significantly increases its profitability.
Since 1994, the Academician has been one of the UNESCO experts in informatics. In 2004, he was awarded the Shohrat Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in 2009 he was awarded the title "Honored Worker of Science", in 2015 he was awarded the N. Tusi Prize, and in 2018 he was awarded the International Silver Medal named after Academician Azad Mirzajanzade.
