29.04.2024 /The paper “Current trends in digital transformation and their impact on the National Economy”, co-authored by Aygun Aliyeva, PhD in Economics, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS), has been published in Scientific Bulletin of Mukachevo State University Series Economics, a Scopus journal.
This paper is devoted to the main directions of regulation of digital economy in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In modern realities, digital transformation plays a very important role in the economic development of the country. This is due to both the high rates of scientific and technological progress and the commonality within economic relations, consumer preferences. Thus, assessing the impact of digitalization on the welfare of the international and national economy remains important. The paper examines the current state of Azerbaijan, one of the countries where the principles of digital transformation are being actively implemented. The paper identifies the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis as the main reason for the acceleration of digital transformation in various countries of the world, including Azerbaijan.
