The scientific-practical conference “Digital Transformation: Problems and Solutions” (DTPS-2024) was held on May 27, 2024, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of SINAM LLC, a scientific-practical partner of the Institute of Control Systems.
The conference was organized by SINAM LLC, Institute of Control Systems and Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Scientists and specialists in the field of information technologies and digital transformation, intelligent systems and other related sciences were invited to the scientific-practical conference.
A panel discussion on “Digital Transformation: Problems and Solutions” was organized within the framework of the conference. Academician Rasim Aliguliyev, Academician Ali Abbasov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Elmin Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Citizens' Services and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Salmanov, Honored Teacher, education expert Asif Jahangirov and Director of Business Development of SINAM LLC Islam Ahmadov participated in the panel discussion moderated by Professor Elchin Aliyev, President of SINAM. During the panel discussion, problems related to digital transformation in our country and ways to solve them were voiced, as well as the process of digitalization from different angles with the joint participation of representatives of the private sector and science was discussed.
The conference continued in the sections on “Industrial and agricultural cyber-physical systems based on IoT technologies”, “Intelligent control systems in industry, business and agriculture”, “Smart cities (villages) and infrastructures (modeling, simulation and development)”, “Computer and information systems for analytical analysis of environmental data and decision support”.
The main goal of the conference was to review the high-tech sector, which has been formed and is constantly developing as a business sphere in independent Azerbaijan for 30 years, to discuss the problems of digital transformation and ways to solve them, to consider the digitalization process from different sides in the context of business and science and to create the possibility of forming a completely new experience as a result of synergy effect.
It should be noted that the papers submitted to the conference will be selected by the Program Committee and published in the journal “Problems of Information Society” of the Institute of Information Technology.
