A scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Rustam Azimov, junior researcher of the laboratory No. 1 of ICS “Recognition, identification and optimal decision-making methods”, 2nd year doctoral student in the specialty “Computer Science” of the PhD program of the Institute, made a presentation on “Text authorship identification”.

The speaker Rustam Azimov spoke about various problems and known ways of solving the problems of text authorship identification. Then the proposed methods of solving the problem of author's recognition, considered on the example of works of fiction in Azerbaijani language, and the results of computer experiments were discussed.

The presentation highlighted the results of a comparative study of textual features of various types and the proposed procedures for identifying effective textual features in recognition.

The presentation sparked the interest of the participants of the meeting, discussions on the topic were held.
