Employee of the Institute of Control Systems participated in an international conference

The traditional 11th International Conference Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation (IPMS2026) was held in Malta from May 26 to June 1, 2024. The conference was organized by the Eurasian Association on Inverse Problems (EAIP), as well as such authoritative international journals as “Inverse Problems”, “Journal of Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems” and “Inverse Problems in Science and Engineering”.
Associate Professor Anar Rahimov, Doctor of Mathematics, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the international conference. A.Rahimov was an invited speaker at the Inverse and Control Problems for Evolution Equations and Variational Inequalities mini-symposium at the invitation of Prof. Marian Slodicka from Ghent University, Belgium.
His presentation on “Numerical solution to an inverse problem of recovering source of a special type of parabolic equation” aroused the interest of the conference participants, and various questions were answered.
It should be noted that the program of the conference, attended by more than 240 reputable scientists from 35 countries of the world, included 4 plenary papers and 17 invited papers in the framework of a mini-symposium. The papers were presented at 4 parallel breakout sessions. The main goal of the conference was to discuss the latest achievements in the theory of inverse problems and its various applications by the world scientific community.
