
Institute of Control Systems became a founder of a high-impact factor international scientific journal

The Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan became one of the founders of the international scientific journal “Applied and Computational Mathematics”. The journal is founded by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics at Baku State University, the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The editors-in-chief of the journal, included in the Scopus database Q1 list, are Academician Ali Abbasov, General Director of the Institute of Control Systems, Academician Fikret Aliyev, Director of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics at Baku State University, and Ahmet Ocak Akdemir, Professor at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University (Türkiye). The editorial board of the journal, which publishes four issues a year, includes famous scientists from about 20 countries.
It should be noted that the journal, which has an impact factor of 10 for 2022 and a five-year impact factor of 5.2, was ranked 2nd in the world and 1st in the European Union among 267 journals in the Web of Science Core Collection list in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics category.
