4th Workshop of EU4Digital: eTrade Network

Head of Foreign Relations and Innovations Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS T. Babaev took part in the 4th Workshop of EU4Digital: eTrade Network under EASTERN PARTNERSHIP Platform 2: “Economic Development and Market Opportunities” Panel on Harmonisation of Digital Markets (HDM Panel) held in Minsk, Belarus, on 15-16th May 2018

The main goals of this workshop were to:
a) present and discuss the multilateral project proposals and budgets developed by the thematic Working Groups for the eTrade Network actions planned for 2018-2019, and

b) select the proposals which will be recommended by the Network for priority implementation in the course of the EU4Digital Programme to create the digital infrastructures building blocks necessary for the main cross-border pilots planned in the EaP.

Babayev spoke at the workshop as the eTrade expert on the results of the eStudy on eTrade and eLogistics in Azerbaijan.

Babayev made a suggestion that Eastern Partnership countries members of EU4Digital participate in the new Research and Innovation action (RIA) type project under Horizon 2020 topic MG-2-9-2019 InCo Flagship on Integrated multimodal, low-emission freight transport systems and logistics, which will be opened on 5 September 2018 with the first stage deadline on 16 January 2019 and the second stage deadline on 12 September 2019.
