Head of the International Relations and Innovation Department of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering, participated in the 8th Georgian-Polish International Scientific Conference “Transport Bridge Europe-Asia” (TBEA2024), organized by the Georgian Technical University, in Tbilisi, Georgia, October 16-18, 2024.

 

Speaking at the opening of the conference, T. Babayev spoke about the importance of the international scientific conference dedicated to the problems of creation and operation of transport infrastructure in the Europe-Asia region and noted that it is an important scientific discussion platform for discussing a wide range of problems in this area.

 

On the next day of the conference Tofig Babaev made a presentation on Best Practices of Trade and Transport Corridors Digitalization in Georgia and discussions were held around the topic. The scientist also informed that the 4th International Conference on Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor (PLMO2025) organized by the Institute of Control Systems, will be held on May 15-17, 2025, and the papers submitted to the conference will be posted in the IEEE database.

 

The main topics of the conference cover all major problems related to modern infrastructure and transport, including the state of the art, problems and trends of road, rail, sea and air transport, managerial and economic aspects of multimodal, intermodal and combined transport processes.
