Employee of the Institute of Control Systems took part in an international conference

Head of the Laboratory of İnformation Decision Support Systems, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ramin Rzayev took part in the conference “1st International Symposium on Intelligent Technology for Future Transportation (ITFT – 2024)”, where he made a presentation at the plenary session on the topic “Forecasting Vehicle Mobility on Various Segments of the Urban Transport Network in the Fuzzy Paradigm”. Using the example of transport mobility on a road section in Baku, a solution to the problem of short-term forecasting of the average travel time of vehicles along a selected segment of the transport network is proposed. The initial data were the readings of the speed sensors of the Technical Vision System of the Intelligent Traffic Management Center in Baku.

 
The conference was held in Helsinki (Finland) and was attended by industry experts and scientists from a dozen different countries. Based on the results of the presentation, the Organizing Committee of the conference decided to publish the article by Rzayev R.R. “Forecasting Vehicle Mobility on Various Segments of the Urban Transport Network in the Fuzzy Paradigm”, co-authored with the Deputy Director of the Center for Intelligent Traffic Management, Lieutenant Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emil Akhmedov. The article will be published in a specialized indexed journal included in the Web of Science and Scopus bases.
