Employee of the Institute of Control Systems participated in the COP29 conference

On November 21, 2024, leading researcher of the Laboratory of Control Methods in Dynamic Systems of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor Rashad Mastaliyev took part in the event “StartUp-AI for Green Solidarity” held in the Green Zone within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

Speaking on the “Green goals in science”, R. Mastaliyev noted that holding COP29 in Baku is an indicator of the country's growing influence. He said that such events contribute to the involvement of our youth in startups in the field of artificial intelligence that meet the requirements of the modern era.

Matanat Musayeva, head of Enterprise Azerbaijan portal of the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, Ibrahim Nasibov of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Huseyn Rasulzadeh, Assistant Rector of Nakhchivan State University, Nigar Abdullayeva, specialist of the Strategic Planning Department of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Shahriyar Guliyev, head of AgroChat project, also spoke at the event.

The speeches emphasized the importance of presentation of startup projects and their coordination with public and private institutions, and it was proposed to continue efforts in this direction.
