Head of Laboratory of the Institute of Control Systems took part in an international congress

The Azerbaijani Senologic International Society Regional Congress (SIS) was held in Baku on November 29-30, 2024. Prof. Naila Musayeva, Head of the Laboratory of Technologies and Systems for Identification of Technical Condition of Objects at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the Congress by special invitation of SIS President, Prof. Vahit Özmen. More than 100 scientists from 14 leading countries of the world participated in the congress.

The presentation of Prof. Tolg Özmen from the Department of Gastrointestinal and Oncologic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School on “Artificial Intelligence and Breast Cancer” aroused particular interest at the event.

It should be noted that SIS, founded in Strasbourg in 1976, is a unique society dedicated to the health and treatment of breast diseases, consisting of more than one hundred scientific societies, associations and groups located on 5 continents. The Society organizes world congresses on the latest advances in scientific research in this field.
