Academician Asaf Hajiyev, head of department at the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, was on a business trip in Singapore at the invitation of the Institute for Mathematical Sciences of the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 26-30 July 2018.

On 27 July, Asaf Haciyev spoke at the joint workship of the Institute for Mathematical Sciences and the Institute of Statistics of the National University of Singapore on "Modern Problems and Application of Probability Theory" and discussed the need for joint research with the famous mathematician Louis Chen.
