Bonuses are given to improve the material well-being of scientists

On the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to improve the financial welfare of scientists working in scientific research institutions and stimulate scientific activities, financial bonuses were given to a number of researchers on the basis of the “Methodology for Calculating the Authorship Score of Authors of Scientific Works” developed by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.
In this regard, in order to execute the letter No. 3-29-68/2-785/24 dated June 3, 2024, received by the Institute of Control Systems, a calculation commission was established on the basis of the Institute's order No. 157.
The commission collected data, made appropriate calculations and prepared a report. In the report, the authorship score of the institute's employees was calculated according to the presented methodology by “impact factor score” and “benchmark score” based on scientific indicators for the last 6 years (2018-2024). In the course of the calculation, the scientific works of the researchers of the Institute of Control Systems Institute published in the scientific database “Scopus” were analyzed, and the authors were selected based on the results of this analysis. The rating was formed according to the final results of the “author's score” indicator. In the ranking, authors with a score of 65 and above were classified as category “A”, authors with a score of 30-65 points (including 30 points) as category “B”, and authors with a score of 10-30 points as category “C”.
