Scientific seminar of the Institute of Control Systems was held

A scientific seminar of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on January 21, 2025. At the seminar, Assoc.Prof. Azer Kerimov, PhD in Mathematics, leading researcher of the laboratory “Information decision support systems” of the Institute, doctoral student of the DSc program, made a presentation on the development of methods and algorithms for comparing approaches used in recognizing signals of different classes.

In the presentation, a sequential symmetric signals algorithm was developed to compare signal recognition methods, as well as to create convolution methods from them. With the application of this method, work was prepared and carried out on the topic of creating and applying comparison, recognition, and convolution methods in both one-dimensional and two-dimensional signals.
