
The problem of optimal control of load points for loaded differential equations of parabolic type has been investigated

One of the important scientific results obtained in 2024 at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of theoretical and applied control problems were the results obtained by Prof. Vagif Abdullayev, DSc in Mathematics, and Vugar Hashimov, PhD in Mathematics, on the topic “Investigation of optimal load point control problem for loaded differential equations of parabolic type”. The results of the research were used for optimal control of feedback heat source motion in heating problems. In the process of the research, algorithms were created, computer software for numerical solution of research problems was developed, and computer experiments were conducted.
Such problems are encountered, for example, in controlling thermal modes of reactors in chemical and petrochemical industries. Control of heat source movement is widely used in metallurgy to obtain products of a certain shape and required quality, as well as in the primary thermal preparation of metals for further processing.
The results of the work have been published in 4 impact-factor journals included in the Web of Science database and 5 journals included in the Scopus database.
