A meeting with Vice-Rector for International Relations of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics Prof. Murad Omarov was held at the Institute of Control Systems

A meeting with Professor Murad Omarov, Ukrainian scientist of Azerbaijani origin, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academician of the Academy of Applied Radioelectronics of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Chairman of the Board of “Azerbaijan-Ukraine Friendship Society” of Kharkiv Oblast, was held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on February 17, 2025.

First, Academician Ali Abbasov talked in detail about the history of the Institute, the main areas of its activity, such as theoretical and applied control problems, artificial intelligence technologies, study of socio-economic systems, as well as the scientific research carried out at the Institute and the important scientific results achieved. Academician also invited the scientists of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics to take part in the 4th International Conference “Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor” (PLMO2025), which will be held this year with the organization of the ICS.

Prof. Murad Omarov expressed confidence that the establishment of cooperation with a leading research institution like the Institute of Control Systems will contribute to the development of science and education of both countries, and spoke about the upcoming tasks in this direction.

The prospects of long-term cooperation in the field of joint research work, organization of international conferences and personnel training were discussed during the meeting. An agreement was also reached to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Institute of Control Systems and Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics.
