Scientific seminar of the Institute of Control Systems was held

A scientific seminar of the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on February 25, 2025.  Ulviya Goyushova, junior researcher of the laboratory “Modeling and Control of Continuous Processes” of the Institute, PhD dissertationist, made a presentation “On methods of image comparison” at the seminar.

The speaker talked about different methods and applications of image comparison and presented detailed information about the algorithm for image comparison with extraction of features proposed for image comparison. The presentation provided information about the results of the program built on the basis of the proposed algorithm, the problems encountered, the reasons for the problems and the steps taken to eliminate them. The presentation was met with interest by the participants of the meeting, various questions on the topic were answered.

The seminar was attended by the students of SABAH groups in the specialty “Computer Science” of Baku State University, who are undergoing work experience internship at the ICS.
