A meeting with employees of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes was held

On 29 January 2019, Deputy Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Y.H. Mamedaliyev, Doctor of Engineering Tarana Mammadova and Nadira Hasankhanova, researcher of the Institute, participated in the meeting at the Foreign Relations and Innovation Department of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS to familiarize themselves with the possibilities of participation of Azerbaijani scientists in the EC Research and Innovation Framework Program HORIZON2020.

Head of the Foreign Relations and Innovation Department T. Babayev, , PhD in Engineering, NCP for Legal & Financial Aspects of HORIZON2020 in Azerbaijan, gave the guests information on the structure of the HORIZON 2020 program, its calls, search of topics and partners and answered the guests' numerous questions. The guests also got acquainted with the procedure of registration on the "Funding & tender opportunities" portal of the EC newly created for researchers and research organizations to participate in the Horizon 2020 program and with a number of work programs that fit with the areas of research of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes.

Considering the great scientific potential and extensive foreign relations of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, it was pointed out that the institute has real opportunity to participate in the HORIZON 2020 projects.

At the end of the meeting, T. Mamedova and T. Babayev stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between the two institutes within the HORIZON2020 program.
