
Employees of the Institute of Control Systems took part in the international conference

Head of the International Relations and Innovations Department of the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering and Head of the Laboratory of Modeling and Control of Continuous Processes, Associate Professor Adalat Pashayev, PhD in Mathematics, took part in the IV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Railroad Rolling Stock: Problems, Solutions, Prospects” organized by the Tashkent State University on April 16-19, 2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the conference, T. Babayev welcomed the participants on behalf of the General Director of ICS Academician Ali Abbasov, thanked the university administration, and emphasized the importance of the conference in terms of discussing issues related to the Middle Corridor. He spoke about the long-standing cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as Uzbekistan's support to the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Karabakh. He also pointed out that joint research conducted by the Institute of Control Systems and Tashkent State Transport University in the field of fault diagnosis, digitalization of transport corridors and other areas can play an extremely important role in the development and study of transport in the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
On the next day of the conference, at the session “Digital Transformation and Socio-Economic Systems in Transport”, T. Babayev made a presentation on “Functional tasks and architecture of national electronic logistics systems as key components of digital infrastructure of international transport corridors”, and A. Pashayev made a presentation on “Optimization of the delivery route of perishable goods through the existing transport infrastructure”. In his presentation T. Babaev informed the participants about the 4th International Conference “Problems of Logistics, Management and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor” (PLMO2025) organized by the Institute of Control Systems, which will be held on May 13-15, 2025. The presentations were received with great interest.
