Master's student of the Institute of Control Systems participated in the International Olympiad

Samir Mammadov, 1st year student of the Master's program of the Institute of Control Systems participated in the final stage of the International Data Analysis Olympiad (IDAO). The first stage of the Olympiad took place online between 15 January - 11 February 2019. At the first stage, 1287 teams from 78 countries competed, solving the task provided by the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN). Based on the results of the first stage, 30 teams from seven countries qualified for the finals that took place on 4-6 April 2019 in Moscow, at the central office of Yandex. The Olympiad was organized by Yandex (main organizer), Sberbank and Higher School of Economics. After the final stage in Moscow, the participants were given lectures by professors and representatives of the European Nuclear Research Center, Yandex Taxi and the Higher Economic School.
