Presentation "Bridging the Hungary-related information gap in the Azerbaijani Wikipedia"

On 27 June 2019, the Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Embassy of Hungary in Azerbaijan held a presentation "Bridging the Hungary-related information gap  in the Azerbaijani Wikipedia".

The presentation was devoted to the contribution of the Central Scientific Library to the Azerbaijani-Hungarian cultural and scientific ties, prepared information materials, joint events, the mutual exchange of information, over 250 Wiki articles about Hungary prepared by volunteers from the Wikipedia Methodological Center, and the newly created portal.

Representatives of institutions and organizations of ANAS, higher education institutions and the media participated in the event, and speeches were made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan Victor Szederkenyi and Vice President of ANAS, Member of Parliament, Academician Isa Habibbeyli. The presentation was also attended by Valery Pushnova, an employee of the Foreign Relations and Innovation Department of ICS.
