A monograph by the Head of the Laboratory of mathematical modeling of the application of nanotechnology in the oil industry of the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Eldar Shahbazov "Green energy and nanotechnology against complications in oil production" has been published.
The monograph, dedicated to the memory of Academician Azad Mirzajanzade, covers research and applied work carried out at the atomic-molecular level in the field of oil and gas production, drilling of offshore and onshore wells, the petrochemical industry, the effective use of underground and surface oil and gas equipment, and the processing of surfactants.
The monograph presents research and application of nanostructured cells based on the theory of "low impact and stress effect", which creates manipulations at the atomic and molecular level in solids and liquids. An increase in residual oil production as a result of changing the rheological parameters of the fluid in the reservoir due to the effect of nanoparticles injected into the reservoir during the extraction of residual oil from long-operated fields has been scientifically substantiated. A nanoframework has been created to improve permeability in the near-wellbore area, and this phenomenon — the property of liquid superconductivity — has been scientifically substantiated by the author for the first time.
