
Employees of the Institute of Control Systems participated in an international conference

Acting Executive Director of the Institute of Control Systems for Education and Science (ICS), Associate Professor Elhan Sabziev, DSc in Engineering, Head of the International Relations and Innovation Department Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering, and Lead Software Engineer Khalida Melikova took part in the 17th International Scientific Conference “Transport Problems” (TP'2025), held in Katowice, Poland, on June 25-27, 2025, and organized by the Silesian University of Technology.
At the conference session “Technological Problems in Transport,” E. Sabziev made a presentation on “Autonomous control of collaborative robots,” and at the session “Railway Problems,” Kh. Melikova made a presentation on “Functional tasks and architecture of national elogistics systems as basic components of the digital infrastructure of international transport corridors.”
As part of the conference, which was attended by scientists and researchers from 21 countries, E. Sabziev and T. Babayev discussed joint research and cooperation in the field of transport and logistics with representatives from Bulgaria, Poland, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and other countries. The employees of ICS informed the participants about the PLMO2025 conference held by the institute in Baku and told them about the publication of the conference papers by Springer, in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. T. Babayev also informed the conference participants about the upcoming 5th International Conference on “Problems of Logistics, Management, and Operation in the East-West Transport Corridor” and invited them to participate in it.
