Senior Researcher at the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan I laha Rzayeva, PhD in Engineering, participated in the traditional AI for Good-2025 Global Summit, a leading international event discussing the contribution of artificial intelligence (AI) to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held at the UN headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 7 to 11, 2025.

The summit was organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) of the United Nations and was held in cooperation with other organizations within the UN system. The event was attended by representatives of the public and private sectors, as well as the scientific community from around the world. During the event, participants exchanged views on issues such as artificial intelligence and climate change, personalization and greater inclusivity in educational processes, initiatives to ensure the accessibility and usefulness of AI on a global scale, and networking opportunities for modern technology companies. As a result of the discussions, proposals were put forward for more equitable and transparent development and implementation of AI systems, expanding access to AI technologies for developing countries, strengthening international cooperation in the field of AI, and promoting information exchange.
