An open lesson was held at the Institute of Control Systems
04.12.2019 / Conferences, assembliesOn 4 December 2019, an open lesson was held at the Institute of Control Systems on the topic “Growing Population of Azerbaijan” in the subject “Computer Modeling of Technical and Technological Objects” taught in the Master's program. In her presentation, Ulviya Kadasheva, a second-year Master's student, noted that changes in the population had been studied on the basis of statistical data for 1896-2016, and the results were compared by applying linear and exponential models to this process. Based on mathematical models and statistical estimates that give more accurate results, a population forecast for 2029 was given. The program interface was also demonstrated, created in Visual Studio in the C# programming language as a result of solving the problem.
The open lesson was attended by the Director of the Institute, Academician Telman Aliyev, the subject teacher Fakhrad Pashayev, DSc(Eng), Assoc.Prof. Elkhan Sabziev, PhD(Math), and Head of the Department of Education Sevinj Guliyeva, PhD(Math).
