
PCI 2025 International Conference has concluded its work

The 6th International Conference on Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics (PCI 2025), held at the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has closed.
General Director of ICS Academician Ali Abbasov, was the first to speak, reporting that 240 papers were submitted to the conference by scientists and researchers from leading countries around the world, including Türkiye, Japan, Kazakhstan, Austria, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the USA, Belarus, Slovakia, China, Georgia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Hungary, Estonia, Cyprus, Australia, Latvia, Great Britain, France, Moldova, Belgium, Poland, Canada, Japan, Sweden, and other countries, and 140 of them were accepted. Noting that the presented studies deserve special attention against the backdrop of the development of information technology, the academician emphasized that there are plans to include selected papers in the IEEE Xplore electronic library.
Highly praising the work of the conference, the scientist noted that the papers presented fundamental research results in the field of optimization and optimal control, mathematical modeling, parametric identification and inverse problems, decision-making in technical and socio-economic systems, intelligent systems and decision-making, and other areas, and that interesting ideas for solving existing problems had been put forward.
At the end of his speech, A. Abbasov thanked the co-organizers for their support of the conference and outlined the upcoming goals.
Then, Boris Mordukhovich, professor at Wayne University (USA), Professor Kamil Ayda-zade, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Chingiz Hajiyev, Professor at Istanbul Technical University (Türkiye), Associate Professor Eлlhan Sabziev, DSc in Engineering, Acting Executive Director of ICS, Orken Mamyrbayev, Professor at the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies of Kazakhstan, Yuri Nesterov, Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary), and Rustam Azimov, PhD in Engineering, researcher at ICS. The speakers highlighted the importance of the conference, which brought together scientists and specialists from different countries around the world in the relevant field to discuss current challenges and prospects for the development of cybernetics and informatics, and outlined the upcoming tasks.
In conclusion, the conference participants were awarded certificates. This concluded the international conference.
